Cancellation and Refund Policy
Before proceeding with our refund and cancellation policies, it's important to clarify that we operate as a travel solution provider, not as the sole authority on flight ticket cancellations and refunds. Our policies are aligned with those of the airlines we work with, and we adhere strictly to their guidelines.
Here are our refund and cancellation policies, which apply universally to all travelers:
- travflights primarily offers non-refundable flight tickets from various airlines on our website. However, certain airlines provide refundable tickets according to their policies, allowing passengers to claim refunds for cancellations if eligible.
- Passengers must request flight cancellations within 24 hours of booking to qualify for a refund, where applicable. It's important to note that we do not guarantee or warrant cancellations and refunds for flight bookings.
- Credits issued can be used for future travel purposes. When credits are redeemed, passengers must pay any fare differences and applicable fees.
- As a primary flight booking platform, we do not make additional representations beyond the fees we charge.
- Cancellation and refund assurances are provided solely by the respective airlines, and we are not held responsible in such matters. In cases where airlines approve refund requests for 'No Show' reservations, refunds are issued either to bank accounts or as airline credits.
- travflights does not commit to specific time frames for accepting cancellation and refund requests. Each request is processed sequentially and forwarded to the respective airlines for approval and refund processing.
- Upon acceptance of a cancellation request, passengers are notified via email, including a reference for future correspondence. However, we do not assure passengers of immediate refunds.
- We do not refund service fees in any cancellation scenarios, as these fees are charged at the time of booking. It is entirely the airline's discretion to process refunds, which typically takes 60-90 days from the date of the cancellation request.
- While refunds are usually credited to bank accounts promptly after acceptance of the cancellation request, some airlines may issue refunds as credits for future travel.
- Airlines may impose penalties for invalid refund requests according to their policies, and passengers may also incur service fees based on ticket type and the number of passengers.
These policies align with the airfare rules and policies of each airline featured on our travel website. As the disbursement of refunds is controlled by the airlines, we do not intervene in their procedures or policies in any way.
